Today was a great day for a medieval lamb!

This mosaic piece I’ve made was actually inspired by a velvet embroidered religious pennant I saw whilst visiting a local church. As I didn’t wish to make a mosaic with a religious meaning, I changed the design slightly and included a beautiful Latin sentiment: si vis amari ama, which translates to, if you want to be loved, love. The lamb carries a flag with a love heart.

I love the beauty and history of stained glass, which has influnced my mosaic art work heavily.
